rabbit dung in the sod
a tree grows
lanky, old now and bright still
salmon streamlined the current
a branch fell off, yesterday
a man emerged from
the wilderness and set it
ablaze, ate full, and is old now
somewhere in Bermuda with a
peach tea, yet
still the tree--bright, flickering leaves
the birds and deer and wolves all fell asleep in its shade
the bears came and sat and picked their salmon with their precise teeth
the current froze
sap spooled out of an open pore, a man crawled out of
the hills and licked it, fell ill, and is somewhere
in Tallahassee eyeing
a stack of syrupy pancakes with disgust
trout upturned in the current
the tree is tired.
a boy stabbed it quite frequently with
a screwdriver until a man slapped his hands repetitively
it's going to fall soon
the sod has lost its grip, the wolves died there
nothing but ash though
the bears prodded the sod covered their dung,
nothing but dung though
it will be bright when it keels,
and a man will come out of the wilderness and lay by the waterfall.

Why Do Cats Like High Up Places?
You see your cat, as fat as he is, and you can't understand why he insists every morning to climb to the tippiest top of the tree in your backyard, just to get stuck. You look up at him as he wails miserably, hollering for a sweaty buff fire fighter to come rescue him. What's his deal, you think? Why is he so adamant about climbing up so high?
Well cats didn't always wanna be up in high places. The earliest cats much more enjoyed hiding in bushes or dark caves to escape nomadic hunters. In fact, cats never saw the point in climbing up high; their favorite food, mice, always scurried about in the dirt, so it just made more sense for them to laze about on low ground.
It wasn't until the time of the Egyptians did cats become interested in rising up to high peaks. The Egyptians worshiped their cats like Gods, and made giant pedestals and thrones for them to nap on. Some thrones were up 100 feet high. The higher the throne, the more God-like the cat was. And the cats loved being worshiped, and ever since then, it has become part of their nature to seek high posts to rest on so they can be closer to the Gods and worshiped as one. Even now a days, cats go up high looking for the same treatment. Usually, they are wailing at you not because they are frightened, but because they are upset that you are not worshiping them!
So next time fat Fluffy goes clambering up the tree, do him a favor: Bow and Worship him, praying, "Oh Mighty Kitty, To You I am Forever Indebted and Grateful!"

Why Do People Remember You?
When you hold someones attention.
Gentle in stroke, soft on the touch.
Roll it through you fingers.
Twisting.
Caressing.
Moist.
Warm.
Illuminating sensation,
as you burrow deeper.
Refreshing relaxation,
as attention remembers.
Hold my attention and it will hold you.

Why do people have different amounts of money?
There once was a wise man many years ago that won the lottery. As he was rejoicing he over heard a gentleman remark “I’d love to spend that kind of money”. The wise man did reply explaining to the gentleman that he had in fact spent that kind of money. If he added it up over his years of life he would see he had spent millions, just at a slower speed. Money is abundant, and always will be. Money circles through hands effortlessly as the leaves on a cool breeze. The speed is determined by the individual. We are cars, money is the never ending stretch of highway before us, how fast our wheels turn is decided by how fast we believe we can go. A man will never be worth more than he believes himself to be, by the same law he will never be worth less. You must believe in yourself if you want money to believe in you. It’s already coming your way, always has been, always will be, how fast it gets there is up to you. At that moment the gentleman grabbed the lottery ticket from the wise man’s hands and took off runif I running as fast as he could, yelling in the distance, “ thank you wise man, I believe fast I will have an abundant amount of money, you are so wise!”

Why Do We Say Good Morning?
Why do we say good morning?
Once there was a little girl who got down on her knees and asked the heavens the answer to life, the universe did answer:
“Fill your lungs with second chances.
Cleanse a stranger with your tears.
Pierce with understanding.
Hold with courage.
Keep one eye steady on the soul’s window,
& one hand unwavering in faith’s pocket.
Paint the world around you, & it will stroke back.
Sleep beyond reality & awake only to dream.
Possibility is a blank canvas before you,
God is the brush in your hand.
Believe is the color he chooses.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life, how do you welcome it?”
At once the little girl understood, weeping with joy, she rejoiced good morning! Good morning! Yes it is sweet and this morning is good!
Good Morning

Why Do We Want to Feel Arms Wrapped Around Us?
Why do we want to feel arms wrapped around us?
In the beginning of time all people where pure as the dew on an early mornings petal fresh from Mother Earth’s bosom. All hearts were over filling with so much love that every one floated on the tides of the wind around the world. No need for legs everyone had four arms to embrace one another as much as possible. Not a drop of sorrow, whisp of dishonesty, lingering of heartbreak, or tingle hatred to be found.
There was a pair of identical Princess twins, Shauna and Crystal, the most beautiful babies ever seen. Their beauty so overwhelming the King feared their combined glory might blind men, drive the most honest Solider crazy. In fear for his daughters future he made the heart wrenching decision to separate them at birth. Crystal was sent to live in a castle on the other side of the land, but with her left Shauna’s heart.
Growing up Crystal full of the two most powerful hearts loved like no other, and fell madder that the hatter himself in love with a young man named Destine. Crystal and Destine were a love never seen in history before them. Meanwhile Shauna had been lonely all the years, despite her beauty she was unable to love any young man as her heart was gone. This brought her father much sorrow, and on his death bed the King told Shauna of her sister. Shauan traveled, her vision blurry with tears, as fast as she could to find her sister. When Shauna made it to the castle Destine saw her. Mistaking Shauna for Crystal, Destine grabbed Shauna in his arms and kissed her with all the passion he possessed. Crystal saw this from a far, and fell to the ground. Her heart shattered into a million pieces twinkle all over the night sky and she was fill with so much sorrow that the sun itself refused to shine. The love grew cold in everyone’s hearts around the world, and they were forced to walk on one set of hands, filled with heart break.
